Returns
Shiptory allows you to create return labels for orders that have been shipped with USPS, FedEx, or UPS. This makes it easier to issue returns whenever necessary, which helps you build a seamless customer service relationship with buyers.
- USPS requires you to pre-pay the return label price. This is done directly through Endicia or Stamps, unless you are using Pay-On-Use Endicia return labels.
- Return labels that are created with FedEx or UPS will be charged if customer uses them. It would not be reflected your accounts unless the label is used.
Create Return Label
To be able to create a return label, the status of the order in question must be marked as shipped.
- Go to the order you want to issue a return label for and click on it to open the order details window.
- In the shipping section, click on the Create Return Label. This opens the list of items that can be selected to return.
- Choose item(s) and quantities for the items that you want to issue a return label for.
- Go to the Return Shipment tab to configure shipping settings. If everything in the order will be returned, shipping settings will be filled with the information used when the order was shipped. Otherwise you need to configure it manually.
International Shipments: Shiptory does not support generating return labels for international shipments.
Re-Ship
Shiptory always makes it easy to respond to customers who have issues with their orders. For some reason, shipped packages may have been lost, damaged, or late, or their contents may be incomplete. In these cases Shiptory gives the seller the opportunity to ship an order again - partially or completely.
