Partial Shipments

If you need to ship only part of an order, Shiptory allows you to split the order into multiple shipments that you can send in separate boxes and/or at different times. 

When the ordered quantity for a single line item is too large to fit in a single package, you can split this quantity. This allows you to create multiple labels for the same order.

To create partial shipments;

1. Go to the Orders page and click on an unshipped order to open the order details window.
2. After filling the fields with (preset) required shipping information in the shipping section, click on Create partial shipment. This will go to the Items tab.
3. Choose a quantity that is fewer than the total number of the item ordered.
   • Ex.: If you received a total order of 5 of the same item, choose up to 3 for the current package, so that the remaining can be sent in (a) separate package(s).
4. Confirm by clicking Save in order to create label later, or Create Label to confirm and update the Qty Shipped in the upper portion of the item(s) ordered section.

Note: The status of an order will remain as Unshipped until all items in the order are shipped.

Orders are considered shipped when labels are printed for packages that contain these items in the order.
