In order to stock in or stock out inventory, the particular product must exist in the inventory list. It can only be done through single item products. Bundled item products will update their quantities according to the numbers entered here.
There are four methods to stock in/out a product:
Method 1
- Click the Stock In/Stock Out button on top of the table.
- Locate the product using the search bar and press Enter on keyboard.
- Complete details (see below).
Method 2
- Choose the particular item to stock in or stock out by clicking its checkbox in the inventory table.
- Click the Stock In/Stock Out button on top of the table.
- Complete details (see below).
Method 3
- Click on the in-stock quantity of a product you want to stock in or stock out in the inventory table.
- Complete details (see below).
Method 4
- Double-click on the product you want to stock in or stock out in the inventory table.
- In the product detail window, go to the Info tab and click on the pen icon in the In Stock field.
- Add or deduct (stock in or out) number to reach desired quantity.
- Complete details (see below).
Complete details as follows:
- Choose action: Stock In to add to your inventory; Stock Out to deduct from inventory.
- Choose Warehouse.
- Click on calendar to set Purchase Date.
- Enter Quantity.
- Enter Product Cost per unit. Note that if this field is left blank, it will take the most recent stock in cost into account.
- Show More to add Shipping Cost, Other Cost, Document Number and Description.
Cancel: Cancel the most recent changes that you made.
Save: Save the information with all the changes that you made.
Make Retrospective Stock Changes
In the event a completed inventory stock in or stock out needs to be edited retrospectively;
Method 1
- In the Inventory table, go to the Stock In/Stock Out pop-up window and click on Stock History.
- Find the line you want to change and click on the pen icon to edit the information.
Method 2
- In the Inventory table, go to the go to Stock Audit on the left sidebar.
- Click on the log entry you want to change.
- Make the desired changes.
Cancel: Cancel the most recent changes that you made.
Save: Save the information with all the changes that you made.
