All items that were processed as part of a batch can be seen in this list.
The batch option gives you flexibility in how you organize your shipments and allows you to process large numbers of shipments at once in the background while you continue to work.
Create a Batch Shipment
Save time on label creation by shipping orders based on shipping history and preferences.
Two or more shipments created at once are considered a batch. Orders can be processed in (bulk) batches if the following conditions are met:
- Go to Orders Page
- Select orders that are ready to ship*.
- Enough postage is available in the balance of shipping carriers such as USPS (see how to add postage credit) or a billed active carrier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) is connected with Shiptory.
- Click the Create Order button on top, which will open a new tab in the browser.
- All the labels are listed in this tab and ready to be printed.
*Ready to ship: Shipping information has been entered or retrieved from a previously shipped order of same description and the shipping address is verified.
Batch History Table
- Batch Number: If the order was printed as part of a batch, it will receive a Batch Number. To access the bulk print log, copy this number and enter it in the sidebar search area to view it. This will give you detailed information on the User Name, Number of labels, Cost of (shipping) label.
- Ship Date: The date when the labels for shipments were created.
- User Name: The user that has processed these shipments, i.e. printed the labels.
- Labels Requested: The number of labels that was checked in the Orders table for processing.
- Labels Printed: The number of labels that was successfully printed when the Create Label button was pressed.
- Error(s): The number of labels that was not printed in the batch due to a number of reasons, such as incomplete information or unverified address.
- Total Paid: The total price paid to the shipping carrier(s) to process all the checked shipments in the batch.
- Shipped with: The shipping carrier(s) that were assigned to deliver the shipments to the specified addresses during batch processing. If there are multiple carriers, click to see the names and amounts charged by each.
- Action: Print. This will download the labels created for the whole batch of shipments in pdf format.
Re-Print A Batch Record
To view and re-print batch-processed labels;
- Go to the Shipments page and choose the Batch History tab in the sidebar.
- Click on Print in the Action column of the selected Batch ID. This will open a new tab in the browser.
- All the labels are listed in this tab and can now be printed again.
